Norsan is a group of diverse legal entities founded in 1987 spanning industries such as hospitality, food service, food processing, distribution and as well as multimedia. Starting with Frontera Mex-Mex Grill in March 1987, Norsan ventured into the process meat industry and wholesale imports to vertically align its practices. Norsan's successful restaurant expansion began with Pampas in March 2001 followed by Luciano's in 2007. Seeing a parallel opportunity in radio broadcasting, our company entered the multimedia industry by establishing a network of Hispanic targeting radio stations, print publications, and online social portals. Along with in-house consulting, Norsan strives to be a model of excellence for the Latino community as one of the Top 70 companies within the Hispanic Business 500.
Our business strategy at Norsan is that we will consistently deliver, through its series of companies, products and services that will meet or exceed our customers' needs. It is through the flexibility of a diversity of channels that these products and services will be the most advantageous to our customers. By building close relationships with our providers and thriving toward operational excellence, we will be able to sustain a competitive advantage throughout the span of our different companies.

Businesses, Products and Services
Norsan operates the following divisions: restaurants, food processing and distribution, as well as several multimedia platforms. The restaurants, located in the metro Atlanta area include: Frontera Mex-Mex Grill, an award-winning chain of 12 neighborhood Mexican restaurants; the renown Pampas Steakhouse, an Argentine steakhouse rated as one of the top three Atlanta steakhouses by the Zagat® Survey and the award-winning Luciano's Ristorante Italiano, one of Opentable's highest-rated Italian restaurants. Our high quality foodstuff standards are supported by our inhouse USDA-licensed meat packaging and distribution at Prime Meats, as well as the imports of Norsan Foods that command the internal supply chain. Operations for Norsan Multimedia function in the form of 12 Hispanic-targeted radio stations, in AM & FM signals that cover North & South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida. Said stations cater to a variety of formats including regional Mexican, religious, Spanish contemporary and Spanish newstalk. In addition to radio broadcast, Norsan Print also publishes Hola Noticias, a Spanish-language weekly newspaper in the city of Charlotte and Columbia, NC; and Jacksonville, FL and runs DescubreCharlotte.com, a social network that connects the Latinos within the same city.
Norsan prides itself in operating for a wide array of markets. The restaurant division focuses its operations on casual dining in both Mexican and Italian cuisine, while there is a unique shift to white tablecloth fine dining with Argentine fare. With regards to meat processing and food distribution, our practices are focused toward both Hispanic and a traditional market, with a specialty in the trade for premium cuts of meat. By providing a variety of media outlets, our multimedia division is able to target the entirety of Spanish speakers in the areas in which it operates on the levels of radio, print and online channels. With projected growth within the Hispanic markets in the Southeast region, we anticipate the possibility to continue to develop additional concepts within each of our divisions: for an expansion of restaurants, increased food processing and distribution and additional media channels.
